1. The store

Metalphraseguard is an independent retailer of physical backup plates and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Ledger SAS or SatoshiLabs. Ledger, Ledger Nano, and Trezor are registered trademarks of their respective owners, used here solely for product compatibility purposes.

2. What you are buying

You are buying a blank metal plate, or a blank plate with a letter stamp kit. You are not buying an electronic hardware wallet. We do not set up, repair, or troubleshoot Ledger or Trezor devices. You stamp any words yourself after delivery. You must not send us those words.

3. Price and payment

The price on the product card is the plate or kit price. United States ground shipping is $9.00 and is added in the cart before you pay. There is no subscription. Checkout requires an account. Payment is in the crypto coin you select. We do not add a conversion fee. A miner fee charged by the network is not part of our price and is not paid to us.

An order is accepted when we confirm we received the crypto amount for the total shown at checkout. Until then, the order is a request.

4. Accounts

You need an account to check out. On this version of the site, the account, cart, and order record stay in your browser. Use a password you do not use as a recovery phrase.

5. Shipping and returns

Delivery terms are on the shipping page. Return terms are on the returns page. Both are part of these terms.

6. Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Metal Phrase Guard is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for lost cryptocurrency. Our total liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid us for that order. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.

A metal plate does not replace the device that created your backup, and it does not stop every kind of loss. If you stamp the words and then lose the plate, we cannot restore them. We never had them.

7. Disputes

Email support@metalphraseguard.com before a formal claim. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, excluding conflict-of-law rules. These pages are a public store policy, not a law-firm opinion.
